Polygon is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that enhances its scalability and usability by using various technologies like Plasma chains, zk-Rollups, and Optimistic Rollups. It provides faster, cheaper transactions through sidechains and significantly reduces gas fees. With its focus on interoperability, Polygon allows seamless communication between Ethereum and other blockchains, supporting a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps). The network employs a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism for security and is fully compatible with Ethereum’s tools, making it a developer-friendly platform. Overall, Polygon aims to improve Ethereum’s performance while fostering a vibrant ecosystem of applications and innovations.
Staking on the Polygon Network involves locking up MATIC tokens to support the network’s security and operations. Validators, who are responsible for processing transactions and maintaining the blockchain, are selected based on the amount of MATIC they stake. In return for their contributions, stakers earn rewards in the form of additional MATIC tokens. This process not only secures the network but also offers benefits to stakers, including earning passive income through staking rewards and contributing to the network’s decentralization. Additionally, staking helps maintain low transaction fees and high throughput, enhancing the overall performance of the Polygon Network.
BCW Technologies (BCWT) provides a versatile set of critical solutions geared towards expanding the capabilities of its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform. BCWT serves as a research and development hub under BCW Group for early-stage products and provides technology advisory. BCWT operates a wide range of Web3 network nodes spanning validators, zk provers, RPCs, bridges, relayers, and oracles to provide on-chain data sources for financial institutions, academic institutions, and a wide range of web3 products and services.
When you delegate $MATIC with BCW Technologies, you’re selecting a partner with unparalleled expertise and reliability in blockchain staking. We offer:
- DLT Network Specialists: Your staking is managed by professionals with extensive blockchain expertise.
- High Availability: We ensure uninterrupted staking with consistently high uptimes, even during peak network activity.
- Global Coverage: Our infrastructure spans the globe, providing reliable coverage worldwide.
- Security: With top-tier security across multiple cloud providers and boutique data centers, staking with BCW means you leverage our decades of experience in infrastructure security.
For institutional stakers, BCWT offers advanced downstream services, enabling you to provide $MATIC staking options to your customers. By partnering with us, you ensure a robust, secure, and reliable staking experience backed by industry experts..
The fee percentage for staking $MATIC with BCW Technology validators is currently 3%.
The output of rewards from the Polygon Network itself is based on the number of additional stakers and validators on the network.
There is no minimum amount of $MATIC tokens required to stake with BCW Technologies ; however, the amount you stake should be sufficient to cover the network fees associated with the transaction.
Simply by bonding $MATIC tokens to our validator, you have nominated BCW Technologies’ validators for rewards.
You can visit the official Polygon Staking site to checkout our validator profile and delegate to our node.
Currently there is no minimum time commitment. Any updates will be circulated to the delegators.
With years of experience running validator nodes on a wide range of Web3 networks, BCW Technologies operates and supports 60+ different networks, bringing expertise, awareness, and active participation
